Preparing for the GED Test

Teachers at Fayetteville Adult Education are currently helping students prepare to take the new GED computer-based test. GED® readiness classes are free. The 2014 series of tests offers the student online registration and scheduling as well as same-day score results. In addition, score reports identify specific student strengths, areas for improvement, and individualized steps with correlation to test preparation curriculum. Classes are also offered in GED® computer-readiness skills. These classes include guided instruction for the computer skills needed on the test. They also incorporate assistance with the registration process and an assessment of needed computer skills. The goal is to ensure that each student is well prepared for the computer-based test. Fayetteville Adult Education encourages students to embrace the exciting changes that the new test has to offer.
