November's Harvest of the Month is the peppy BELL PEPPER!
This month, students and staff will sample “Cowboy Caviar” during their lunchtime taste tests. The bell peppers are locally grown by growers at the Fayetteville Farmers Market. Did you know that red, yellow and orange bell peppers are actually just ripe green bell peppers? Also, a red bell pepper has twice the amount of vitamin C as a green bell pepper.
